This is the first time Hull & Humber, backed by Yorkshire Forward - the region’s development agency behind the economic regeneration of Yorkshire and the Humber - has taken part in the race. The aim is to promote the region on a world stage, to attract major events and to boost
the local economy, trade, tourism, image and
social inclusion.

Our distinctive orange yacht is an ambassador for this dynamic part of the UK and has captured the imagination of the region and beyond. We wish the crew bon voyage and God’s speed on the ultimate team challenge – to circumnavigate the globe in the Clipper 07-08 Round the World Yacht Race.
